Every service here is built for one situation: a tradesperson who is good at the work and new at finding the customers. Choose by the problem you have today, not by what sounds impressive. If you are unsure, the quick table below usually settles it in under a minute.
| Your situation right now | Start with |
|---|---|
| "My phone only rings when my uncle recommends me." | First-customer launch plan |
| "I don't show up on Google Maps at all." | Google Business Profile setup help |
| "People ask for my website and I don't have one." | Starter website |
| "I want to do it myself but I don't know if I'm doing it right." | DIY marketing coaching |
Before any of these, please know what we are: a marketing and business advisory service. We are not a contractor, we do not do installs or repairs, and we will never compete with you for work. We also do not advise on licences or permits; for that, each region page links you to the official bodies.

First-customer launch plan
The first-customer plan is for owners who have the skills and the van but not yet the steady stream of calls. It turns the people and streets closest to you into your first 20 paying jobs, in a written order you can follow.
We look at who already knows you, which neighbourhoods you can reach in half an hour, and what a typical job is worth to you. Then we write a short plan: who to contact, what to say, which local listings to claim and how to ask for reviews without feeling pushy. Most owners need this more than they need ads. Read the full first-customer plan details, or try the free version in our guide to your first 20 customers.
Google Business Profile setup help
This is for anyone who is missing from the map results, stuck on verification, or unsure how to set up a profile when they work from home. We help you create or clean up the profile so it is complete, honest and verified.
A service-area business, which is what most trades are, has a few rules that trip people up: hiding your home address, choosing the right primary category, and naming the business exactly as it is registered. Getting these right on day one avoids suspensions later. The profile setup service page explains what we check, and the step-by-step profile guide lets you do it yourself.
Starter website for new trades
A starter website is a small site, usually five or six pages, that proves you are a real local business and makes it easy to call or text you. It is not a showpiece.
New owners often either skip the website entirely or pay for a large one they do not need yet. The right size for year one is a home page, one page per main service, a service-area page, an about page with your photo, and a contact page with your number in large type. See what a starter website includes and the questions to ask before paying anyone to build one.
DIY marketing coaching
Coaching is for the owner who would rather do the work but wants someone experienced to check it. You keep control and keep the cost down; we keep you pointed in the right direction.
A typical rhythm is a short session every two weeks: you show what you did, we review your profile, website and call log, and you leave with three specific tasks. It suits owners who are comfortable on a laptop and want to learn the skill for good. The DIY coaching page has the details, and our first-year DIY marketing plan is a good way to see whether this style suits you.
How we keep it honest
Each service starts with the free 30-minute consultation for eligible trades businesses, and nothing is billed until you have agreed to a scope in writing. Monthly plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel, and prices are on the pricing page.
We will not promise you a number of calls or a ranking. Nobody can honestly do that. What we can do is show you what is missing, explain why it matters, and help you measure whether each change brings in work. If the honest advice is "you do not need us yet", we will say so and point you back to the guides.
Frequently asked questions
Which service should a brand-new owner start with?
Usually the Google Business Profile, because it is free, it takes a few hours, and it puts you on the map results where most local searches end. If you already have a verified profile, start with the first-customer plan.
Can I buy just one of these?
Yes. You can talk to us about a single piece, such as getting a stuck profile verified, or roll it into a monthly plan. We will tell you in writing what is included before anything starts.
Do you do the trade work or subcontract it?
Neither. We are a marketing and advisory service, not a contractor, and we never take on or pass along trade jobs.
What if I only want advice and plan to do everything myself?
That is what DIY coaching is for. You keep doing the work, and a strategist reviews it, points out what is missing and gives you the next task.
